January £10 Tasting

WEDNESDAY 24 JANUARY

Your purse strings are tight, you’ve given up the booze and things are seeming a little bleak. But they don’t have to be, you have a choice! And we choose wine! Pick yourself up at our January Wine Watch £10 tasting event. It’s not just the very attractive price tag that will tempt you to join us for this one, but the list of sumptuous Spanish wines that we’ll be showcasing from our list. Don’t be so hard on yourself this January, choose wine:

Manzanos Tempranillo, Rioja
Moristel Bodegas Pirineos, Somontano
El Marciano, Ribera del Duero
Buil y Gine 'Gine Gine', Priorat
Urbina Especial Reserva, Rioja

A Valentine’s Blind Tasting

WEDNESDAY 14 FEBRUARY

Our Valentines Wine Watch tasting event means you can unashamedly let a bottle of wine be your date for the night. Or, come along with an actual date for the evening and take part in a Valentines tasting with a twist. Our blind tasting means you’ll be trying wines without seeing the label, and discussing grape variety, flavours and price point, without any preconceptions about what you ‘normally’ like. Once the bottles are revealed at the end of the evening, you may be surprised by what you discover…

WEDNESDAY 14 MARCH

They can seem like a strange bunch, but don’t knock em’ till you’ve tried them. It’s London Raw Wine fair from the 11-12 March, and we’ll be celebrating the rise of weird and wonderful wines by raising a glass (or 6) at our monthly Wine Watch tasting event. All the bottles have been chosen from our own list, and what better way to taste the unexplored than in the good company of your fellow Wine Watch friends (and the equally weird and wonderful Pippa Penny – resident wine guru at Village East, and your host for the evening.)

Not Your Usual

WEDNESDAY 18 APRIL

We all have our go to wine, this is your opportunity to sample something a little different. We’ve selected six of the lowest selling bottles from our list, at a medium price range for you to try. Not because they’re not great wines, simply because most guests generally opt for a wine they are familiar with. Fair enough. This Wine Watch event is all about showcasing the underdogs from our list, and giving them a chance with some serious wine heads. Be one of those wine heads and…
